Feraz Ozel was recruited by the CIA, but turned it down for a life in comedy. Now, this LA based comedian tours internationally providing crowds with an energetic brand of insightful stand-up, often stemming from his perspectives as an Afghani-Pakistani American. Also a formally trained actor and improviser, Feraz has appeared on national television on 2 Broke Girls, Hollywood Darlings, Comics Unleashed, Conan, and Hulu's Coming to the Stage, and recently shot his lead role in the feature film "Hollywood Dirt." Feraz is also a seasoned writer and recently directed the film "Curious Georgina," which starred Himself and Bobby Lee, screened at Just for Laughs in Montreal and was distributed by Kevin Hart’s LOL Network.

Feraz has been featured in the LA Times, The Atlantic Magazine, Rolling Stone, and several documentaries. Feraz also performed in the 2016 CBS Diversity Showcase, and wrote several sketches that appeared in the show. Recently, his stand-up album "Chillennial" charted in Billboard's top 10, and iTunes' top 3 for comedy albums, and his tracks regularly play on Sirius XM. Viral clips of his stand up have over 20 million views and have been distributed by mega-blogs like NowThis and LADbible.

You can catch Feraz performing regularly at comedy clubs all over Los Angeles including The Comedy Store and The Hollywood Improv. Or at his house trying to figure out what bitcoin is.

“We have Feraz Ozel back at our club every year, and he is one of our favorite headliners to work with. He kills it every time and is always professional and very easy going.”

—Tony Salek, The Comedy Palace, San Diego, CA.

“Feraz is worth his weight in gold when it comes to comedy. He understands what it takes to bring a laugh and keep it coming. The best part is that it's worth your while to invite him again and again for corporate events, annual banquets, college gatherings, and comedy clubs. He knocked it out of the park when he came to our Annual Banquets, based on great recommendations within our network of friends and professionals who heard him before. Book him and find out what you’re missing out on!”

—Anwar Abdelsalam, Granada Islamic School, Business Development Manager.

“Feraz was fantastic! Our best show of the school year. He was original, personable, and really great to work with for the show. I do not have any negative feedback. Feraz was quite enjoyable to host on campus and our students are still raving about him. After the show he had a line of people waiting to talk and get their photo with him.”

—Ryan Green, Assistant Director of Campus Activities, State University of New York, Upstate Medical University

"Two words: Funny Guy. Feraz brings a customized and unique background which engages his audience in one of the most captivating manners. Feraz has been doing community events for the South Bay community and is rapidly getting booked. In running a Non-Profit Organization, we needed to lift the audience and Feraz IS the guy for this. Around a campfire, in the woods, 400 people in the stands – each elder, parent and child are laughing at his standup routine. Feraz brings jazz, poise, current events in humor as well as cleanliness to the table. I highly recommend him as he’s professional and goes above and beyond – he’s a true definition of career oriented: When you love what you do it feels like you haven’t worked a day in your life."

—Shahid Shaikh and Lamis Diwan. Muslim Family Camp Organizers

“Our performance with Feraz was amazing. He was very funny and interactive with the audience. We had a very positive experience with him, and I can't think of any complaints about his performance. We would love to have him back to our University in the future.”

Jalen Williams, USF Student Activities Board President, University of St Francis

"Excellent work Feraz - Everyone is simply raving about you. Your show was the highlight of HDF's Fundraising Gala - We had invited the likes of Bushra Ansari, Former Attorney General of Pakistan and Former Chief Justice of Pakistan and while they all were very well received, everyone I now meet brings up your act as the highlight of that evening - of-course in addition to the Human Development Foundation's message :)"

—Moazzam Chaudry, Board of Directors for HDF (Human Development Foundation)

“The show went very well. Feraz was great and the crowd loved him. He was very fun and easy to work with … he was very professional. We hope to have him back on campus soon.”

—Anton Fobbs, Comedy Director, University of Wisconsin – Stout

“The feedback we received after Feraz's performance on Friday was all positive! We appreciated that he kept his show in line with our school’s values, but also allowed for our audience to feel like adults. He was a very genuine person and great to work with. Our crowd was great for a Friday night at our school and we would certainly have him again in the future!”

—Jessica Keller, Cabrini University, Co-Director of Entertainment & Performances

“Feraz was a great fit for Bay Path. He was able to read the crowd well and adjust his set on the fly when needed, and helped create a hilarious and memorable night for our students. Conveniently, he also was a great communicator as he made his way to campus. That's always appreciated! I'd certainly bring him back to Bay Path if it's in the cards for the future.”

—Collin Glasow, Coordinator of Student Activities, Bay Path University
